ok, i'm demoing a pair of deep dish wheels that have valve extenders and i have to ask this moronic question, hoping someone out there will help me out and not make fun of me too much.

HOW THE HELL DO YOU INFLATE THE TIRE???? i have a high-end specialized pump and i can't seem to inflate the tires. there does not appear to be any sort of cap or screw on the extender. do i just put on the pump and start pumping as usual? should it be more difficult to inflate than inflating a tire without the extender? i briefly tried that and stopped because i wasn't sure i was inflating properly.
