I'm 6'0" and ride a 58. It fits fine, though the top tube is a tad long (with a 110 stem). Putting a 90mm stem on there would make it just right I think.

A 56 might feel a bit long for you, but it really depends on the geometry of YOUR body too. If you have a long torso in comparison to your legs, it might be just right.
