Well, yeah. I've worked the registration table for our Fall Century ride, and our 4th of July Crit and our double century. I timed on a 12/24, and fed riders, I was corner marshall out in the sticks (I brought my knitting), I handed out water bottles at the last and first California Iron Man. I made kid goody bags (hundreds!) to pass out to our youngest riders at one event. A club event is only as good as it's volunteers, so I want to do my part. And I'm only a small part; I SO admire the ones that helm the whole event, it takes over your life! I bow to them...
