Bikes: Trek 4300 X 2. Trek 1000, Trek 6000

There are probably 6 million threads on these forums about Walmart bikes. Click "search the forums" at the top of the page, then type "walmart bikes." I'm not going to rehash it here but i will tell you this, there is a reason why that $70 bike costs the same as my saddle.

The more you ride the better bike you will need. That walmart bike will be fine for you if you don't plan to ride it much. The down side of buying it is that you never realize that for $200- $300 more you can have a bike that will be MUCH better and truly show you what cycling has to offer.

The bikes in Walmart are toys. If you are looking for a toy, that is where you should go. If you are looking for a reliable piece of sporting equipment, go to your local bike shop. (BTW, I seriously doubt that you can find an aluminum frame bike in Wally for $70. It will likely be high ten steel or worse.
