But you keep calling us naive, how naive must you be to think that if he did do it, he is just going to come out and admit it, he has millions of people that look up to him in the cancer community.
I don't expect him to come out with the fact that he doped and has doped for his whole career. I don't expect him to come out and admit that doping is probably what gave him cancer. What I do expect is that he does what all other pros do, and keeps quiet as possible on the subject of doping. However, because Armstrong's 'IP' is of the clean-living 'cancer miracle' (something he has made millions from) he naturally has to support and profit from this position by also being anti-doping (donating to the UCI on anti-doping, for instance).

What angers people and puts him in the spotlight is the contradicton between the clean-living health miracle 'IP' and the truth that all pro cyclists, Lance included, are nearly killing themselves with illlegal doping products all the time. It's a horrible lie to all the kids and adults with cancer that put him on a pedestal as a miracle and inspiration.
