Same discs as on this years Comp Disc... mostly same components (except the rear - it's Deore not LX like this years Comp) - but better front shock I think over last years Comp (non-disc) - Marzocchi MZ Comp... where last years Comp has Manitou Splice Comps.
i really like the combination of components for this year's rockhopper comp disc, so i'm getting that... 999 and you can haggle off the tax too if u pay cash or something... the lowest price in my area for that bike is 1050. and 1090 at my closest lbs. s
till, last year's comp is selling for so low, if you were budget concious you would get that and pay just a bit extra for them to upgrade the fork, it's a really good deal if you don't care about having last year's frame. (just different paintjobs, no upgrades in frame strengthwise this year)
i'm getting the 06 rockhopper comp disc... if you're more xc-ish like me then you should stick with the rockhopper line, i just feel that it's a more refined, lighter, better frame overall... and it would make more sense to upgrade a rockhopper frame than a hardrock frame. just my style of riding tho...
