The LA county ride is a good ride, I've ridden it several times. I live near the start area. There are a couple of places to get water during the ride. Hopefully this current heatwave will break soon.

Today would not have been a good day, it was 107 in Santa Clarita today. So I went with some friends up to Mt Pinos and did a couple of climbing repeats. 8.5 miles up with 2200 ft of climbing, then a screaming 8.5 mile descent. Would have done a 3rd repeat, but even at 6000-8000 ft elev, it was starting to get warm.
