All of our busses have racks. I work second shift (no car) so I ride the seven miles to work weather permitting and usually take the bus home at night since I really rather not ride at night if I don't have to (and I'm kind of tired after eight hrs).

Captain Monkey what kind of racks do you have on your busses? I forget the brand name of ours ("Sportracks" I think, I'll have to look at them again). They have a spring loaded arm that goes around the front wheel and they're really stable. I've never had any problem with them.

Lately the transfer I have to get on downtown to get home has had a full bike rack. That has not been a problem since I can take another bus that goes on the same route for the first couple miles and just ride the half-mile home.
