You ain't kidden. I've got tons of 'em. My favorites are the Jack Benny shows. I have just about every one from the 30's -50's. Also like Lux Theater, Richard Diamond (Dick Powell) and Phillip Marlowe shows. My wife's favorites are also Gunsmoke, Dragnet and Suspense Theater (is Roma wine still sold?). William Conrad's voice is really good as Marshall Dillon (shame for him he didn't look like James Arness). For a special treat look for the Bold Venture Radio Series from 46 or 47, starring Lauren Bacall and Humphrey Bogart as adventurers based in Havana.
I don't listen anymore to OTR when commuting as the traffic noise makes it too difficult to understand all the dialog and the recordings are not up to the current standards of sonic fidelity.
BTW, I doubt if I will run out of good R & B tunes. Especially since I can listen to my favorites endlessly. They never get stale.
