I have two of these posts. and they are on the same bike. Ok, it's a tandem. I have no issues with the post slipping or losing adjustment. One thing though, I think it is harder to make slight saddle adjustments with this post. Having to loosen both sides it is hard to keep the saddle angle still if you need to make fore/aft adjustments to the saddle. I much prefer the American Classic saddle clamp arrangement to the Ritchey. Even so, it is a well made relatively inexpensive seatpsot.
