I was lucky and only got rained for about fifteen to twenty minutes. My messenger bag didn't let water in this time thankfully. Traffic was the typical, scary, rainy day mix of the timid drivers who drive like they're lost (unnecessary brake, brake, dart, unnecessary brake, dart) and those impatient with them (can't stop, can't slow down, must pass at all costs, can't stop). Made me want to hand out amber tinted glasses and new wiper blades.
