True, but I am of the "we make our own fate" school and I rarely let anyone decide anything for me so I give most cars/cabs/cyclists the benefit of the doubt that they don't see me and I make my decision from there. It has served me well as I haven't been hit by anything in the 21 years I have been riding the streets of Toronto
edit: now that I've said it, I'll get hit on the ride home tonight, guaranteed
