Not a chance. With a 48-38-24 and 12-32 I have way too much overlap. With my very long chain stays and touring grade derailluers (extreme touring bike) I can go 48-32 or 24-12 if I feel like it. I usually stay in the 48 most of the time.
Is this for a bent that gets ridden in the mountains or are you towing something? 24/32 is so low you may as well walk. With a 24T in front, it's hard to imagine that a 12-26 in the rear wouldn't make it much easier to find the right gear while reducing overlap.
