are you talking about the 5050's? whaddya think of blue and silver to match my bike? or should i go with black and silver? but that seems kinda unexclusive...

i got the pedals for only 30 extra... and the x9 upgrade from x7 for 40. otherwise my rh would've been 1100 flat.

I have a MAJOR problem though. i originally had them swap out the deore shifters and deore lx derailleur for x-7 shifters and x-7 rd, right?
well then i went back and decided to pay the difference to upgrade to x9's.

i took a look at the x9's (in the box, the rockhopper had to be ordered in later) and then went home.

then i went to the sram website. the x9's they had are IDENTICAL to the x-7's that i saw on sram.com.

i figured that they had last year's x9's, which became this year's x7's.


what i SHOULD be getting:


i'm like CRAP i paid 40 bucks extra just to get x7's.

what the heck should i do? should i make them order in this year's x9's? it'll cost the same... right?
i don't wanna be stuck with last year's x-9's next year. and i DO care. that's 40 bucks down the drain.

UPDATE: not even. jensonusa.com shows that this is the 05 x9 derailleur too. that means the x9 they're giving me is from 04 or even older.
