A) Doctors can be staggeringly arrogant about what they don't know. And one thing they DON'T know is if a track or cycling athlete will die from his 'enlarged heart' when he stops competing. They told my brother (the Penn Relays quarter miler) this 30 years ago. He's 54 years old now, doesn't exercise much and is in perfect health. Uh huh.
