I'll suggest the obvious. In short...

North on Riverside Drive
Cross the GW Bridge
North on River Road to the end
North on 9W

Go as far north on 9W as you want and then come back. From my place in Hell's Kitchen to Nyack and back is a shade under 60 miles.
