I am really psyched to do this ride. I am lucky to have a lot of downtime this week and just be able to rest.
I read a lot on the other thread about everyone who's going. Such good info there too.
I have to laugh.....being an ultrarunner, before races I'm always checking temps and humidity to see how it may affect my run. Now I'm a wind direction checking maniac!
PSIMET2001....I live in North Aurora. So if you are in Elgin we are really close. Did you ride Swedish Days? I did the 124 there with about 10 other crazies who decided it would be fun to ride all day in the wind and rain! I rode it solo though...no pace line..mostly a headwind till the end so I know I can make it 160 with a paceline. I'll be looking for your bikeforums plate
