Nice ride. Cool air, but still humid enough that I started to get sticky when I stopped riding.
I caught a couple of nice-looking (from behind at least) women on road bikes, clipless, lycra, and backpacks. They seemed to be slowing down as time went on so eventually I just passed 'em. We exchanged greetings and away I went.
I've decided the toe clips I put on my Peugeot are responsible for a 2 to 3 minute reduction in commute time over 6.4 miles. Not too bad. I do notice some different thigh muscles feeling "used" after the ride.
I saw another bunny, too. It was on my left, in the grass, and decided to hop (fast) across the MUP right in front of me. What is it with little animal brains? "I'll evade the predator by running into its path." Hmm... A squirrel did the same thing to me yesterday.
