Gee, I don't know. The exit is clean. There's no mess. I'm just good at snot rockets, I suppose.

Or maybe it's the hot, dry air in So Cal. My commute home yesterday was 100ºF (38ºC).

But to be sure, I buy only cycling gloves that have fleece on the back! Any minor residue quickly dries. There, in a nutshell, is my take on the hankie issue.

And hey, you can wash your cycling clothes after a ride!

What do soccer players do when they have to blow their nose during a game? I never saw too many hankies out there when I played.

..and I would not snot or spit on the sidewalk either.

London is a wonderful place, and I can assure you I have never, nor never would, defile the sidewalks with spit or snot.

Even we unwashed Barbarians have standards!
