Whoa...that sounded like a serious comment in a bogus thread.
I'm fascinated by pretty much any complex machine rather than the amount of damage said machine can do to a person. You've got to admit that the ability to feed 100 oddly-shaped and poorly-balanced objects each into one of six barrels spinning at 1000 RPM, moving it forward into the chamber, combusting a measured charge, and extracting the remaining portion in a single second without something getting jammed or broken somewhere in the mix is an impressive feat of engineering. Plus my head seems to retain certain types of details really well. I read about this stuff once and it sticks around for quite some time.
