bianchi pista hubs (or the shop i bought it from) suck

you probably remember that i stripped a hub on my pista a little bit ago. thought the cog/lockring was just loose, but nope, stripped hub. so they ended up giving me a warranty replacement. they didn't have any built wheels so they sent a hub for the shop to rebuild on my rim. this all took about two weeks from when i brought it in to get the slippage checked out.

well, i got the wheel back yesterday and this evening was the first chance i had to go out for a ride. so i stand up on the pedals to get going and almost nut myself on the top tube. now, i don't have a lock ring tool so i can't check this out myself, but i would bet money on the hub being stripped again. either that or the wrenches at this shop don't know how to properly put on a cog or tighten a lock ring. it could just be i got another crap hub, or that these hubs are crap all around. i'm not immediately blaming the shop, but man i'm really unhappy right now. i've been without my bike for almost two weeks. i've had to *gasp* drive to work. i thought i disliked cars when i was on my bike. i think if i have to drive for very much longer i'm going to kill someone. but that's beside the point. the point is, something sucks, and it's either the hubs that come with the pista, or the shop. i will refrain from pointing fingers until i get the wheel checked out tomorrow
