I am wondering how much actual protection there would be on that particular bike. Usually the fairing with the remote base-mounted fairings sit away from the rider rather than close like a Tour Easy

You would also (if you were ordering a Mueller or Zzipper fairing) probably have to go with the experimenter's kits.
