I ended up putting white tape on it, as that is what I had on hand at the time. It looks pretty sharp, I think.
This bike shined up very well, and rode pretty snappy on the shake-down cruise.. I ended up having to put tubes, tires, tape, and brake cables on it. Also, the derailluers/brakes needed adjustment and I had to change out the freewheel, as well.
It now has a new home in The City.
Next up, a little brown Raleigh Grand Prix mixte that I found last week.
