Sammy Hagar couldn't drive 55 mph and, NYPD crackdown notwithstanding, I can't ride 15 mph in Central Park. So, in honor of the former Van Halen front man, let's post our fastest times and average speeds for one loop of Central Park. My personal one-lap best:

Distance: 6.2 mi
Time: 16:19
Avg Speed: 22.71 mph
Top Speed: 31.0 mph (the downhill after the Harlem Hill climb)

Anybody else out there breakin' the law?

*Hopefully nobody gets too worked up about the theme of this thread - I applaud NYC's Finest and the hard work they do each day to keep the city safe....I just wish they'd vacate the park when I'm trying to ride (and take all the tourists with them).
