just my personal bias, i have a set of fsa rd 600, love them, very aero, very light, not too expensive, esp on e bay. they may not fit the bill as far as traditional looking, the rims are fairly traditional, they have 18 spokes, but 6 spokes insert into a central flange which is in the midline of the hub, supposed to be more aero. go to www.fullspeedahead.com for more info.
