I picked up three bikes today from a weird guy in the worst part of town. Hookers addicts etc... they guy had bough a bunch of bikes thinking he would fix them, sell them etc.... but he stripped them thinking SS of fixed gear and tossed most of the parts!!! Anyway I got an old high tensile norco avanti complete, just need some grease and TLC and it should cover the cost of all three. The other is a Norco Victory Tri A but the levers were gone and it had a full suntour edge group, most of which we were able to scrounge up around his apt... save some missing bolts and nut on the FD and the shifters... Last but definately not least a bridgestone... stainless steel main tube and it is a tank. it has bridge stone cranks and the front caliper as well. the seatpost is a quill style. Wheels etc.. are mix matched and inconsequential. It is a very cool bikes and if the operation does not happen tomorrow (it's scheduled but probably won't happen) I will get some pic up in it's own thread. It's pretty rad.
