I've been on a steel frame (~23lbs) for the last 5 yrs or so.

Seeing the carbon price vs performance vs quality curve hitting the sweet spots these days, I've been considering a new bike.

I've so far ridden some Orbeas (Onix) and some Specialized (Tarmac Expert). I'm not a huge Specialized fan in general but, the Tarmac Expert I rode was pretty sweet.

Somehow, I didn't feel good on the Orbea.

I'm also looking at the Specialized Pro but don't see a huge incentive vs the Expert. What are your thoughts on the bike itself and the Expert vs Pro setups.

Also, any other suggestions for a crabon frame in that price range?
