I test rode both the Orbea Onix and the Specialized Tarmac Expert, along with a Scott CR1. Liked the Scott the best, the Specialized second, and for me, the Orbea felt very dead. In the end I chose the Expert as it felt close to the Scott in my book with a good gruppo at a decent price point.

The Pro has some DA parts on it, but it is not a full DA gruppo along with I believe a carbon steerer tube on the fork. I believe those are the only differences. The Expert is a full Ultegra gruppo and to me, seems to be a better bang for the buck.

I'll second what was said above...if I were to do it again, I'd take a good hard look at Pedal Force.
