Bikes: Guru Geneo, Specialized Roubaix Pro, Guru chron 'alu, Specialized Sequoia

Why did Landis stop to change bikes towards the end of the stage?
I have looked on Velo News, and if it was dealt with on OLN I must have missed it. I have opinions - they are cheap, but does anyone actually KNOW why Landis changed bikes?
