Hello there. I have two Calfees, a Luna and a Dragonfly. I dearly love them both. The Luna is a fixed gear. They are both great bikes, very light (D-fly 15.3 pounds with race wheels) and stiff. Great handling. Good vertical compliance for a forgiving ride over long distance - but strong enough to win Cat 3 (or better) field sprints on (which I have done more than once). They are also really beautiful bikes and unlike one-piece carbon frames, Craig can repair them should you damage them. (I drove my D-fly into a parking garage roof and he fixed it and it is good as new with a new top tube). Luna's cost a little under 2 grand so you would have to push to get it in around three grand for a new one. You could try to find a used one on ebay if need be. Lots of people like the bikes so much after getting a Luna or Tetra, that they will buy a Dragonfly and sell their old bike - which in many cases is still quite good-people tend to baby them.
