He's on the level; I couldn't get down there yesterday to buy it. First I lost my wallet (found it later), then 880 southbound turned into a 120° parking at Fremont. After sitting in it for half an hour I decided I just didn't want the bike bad enough to pass out from the heat on the freeway.
