As to calibrating a Power Tap, that can easilt be done anytime by hanging a series of weights from a pedal held horizontal while holding the rear wheel still. Then compare the measured torques to the torques you calculate from the suspended weight and the crank length.
Thanks for the tip. I am really more interested in having like numbers from the labs equipment to my PowerTap. I suspect the lab stuff will be more accurate, and as long as they are close all should be okay.
I doubt the test will hurt it, but I really don't know.
