The reason Ullrich got fired really was not about doping at all. It was about lying to his team owners and management. When Puerto first broke, T-Mobile made all of their riders sign a legal document stating that they had never had any dealings with Dr. Fuentes (I don't remember his name, this may not be it). T-Mobile now has proof that Jan Ullrich has at least visited/called/text messaged the doctor. He lied in the legal statement he signed for them, they considered it a breach of trust and fired him. That's why. Nothing to do with doping...

Although its pretty obvious that if he had dealings with that guy he was most likely obviously doping - but its harder to prove that and T-Mobile hasn't/didn't have to.
