World's Best Steel Atala
Well, at least I think it's a pretty cool bike.
I got if off eBay early this summer. It was a bargain. The original owner had developed a serious condition right after buying it in late 80's and never rode it more than a few times. It sat in garage and storage for almost 20 years, until he and his wife decided to part with it this year. I did not have to do much work on it - new cables/bar tape/adjust derailleurs and pedals. Just a few scratches here and there. I may take it to Cirque du Cyclisme next year and win Best Unrestored/Original Italian !!!
I love vintage steel.
