I only made it 6 miles - 1/4 of the way, and then my derailleur cable snapped. I was having such a great ride; I just knew I was going to set a new PR today.

A fellow commuter that I'd recently passed stopped and asked if I needed help. I said no and called home to get a ride...

Now I've got to figure out how to put a new cable on these fancy integrated shifters. Maybe I'll just have the LBS do it, but they're so busy this time of year that they probably will want to hold my bike for 2 days. Can't have that!!!
