Bikes: Trek 950 Singletrack, Bianchi Giro, Looking for a Track Bike

a little stuck...

This may be a stupid question but oh well... I'm in the process of converting my '95 Trek to a singlespeed, I have everything I need for it however i'm stuck on how to get the crank arms off. It looks like you need a 15mm or so allen wrench, but I don't know where to get these. And i've read that there is a dustcap that you need to get off... Anyway, how do i get these stupid things off??? By the way they are shimano LX cranks. I know i probably should put this in the mechanics forum, but this one is so much better. Oh and i'm saving up for a Track bike, so no ridicule that i'm not making this a fixie... Thanks for the help!
