Rad, I know I'm going to hate the friction... I have a 1978 Norco Magnum SE with Shimano 600 friction, I disliked the non discript feel of the non detented lever, I stopped riding the bike and gave it to my brother inlaw

For the classic, I though OK, I'll give it an honest shot with a renewed attitude from your persepctive

I picked up a pair of NOS Syncros 2 levers. They have 6 speed inserts as well, so Kurt, I need you to hook me up with the 7 speeds please

I'm on holidays perusing the Bike Shops in Calgary, but not seeing a lot of things I want. I did find a sort of Vintage looking Bottle holder
