To my knowledge, they're mass produced chinese fare. I'm not knocking the chinese, as I don't think any nation can be manufacturing impaired, but I don't think anybody will argue that for a little more money you'll be able to get better made in the same country you live in. (even the chinese can probably get better bikes than that in china that were made in china...its more to do with our method of marketing crappy toy bikes to people who want toys instead of 2-wheeled sport utility vehicles.
yes, I called bikes SUVs. but think about it, using the literal definition of each of the 3 words in the acronym, that's what they are, and nothing with an internal combustion engine probably fills the definition better except maybe the military grade hummer or the older style jeeps and land rovers.
