Regarding the Jubile:

I have what I'm confident is a '78. Yours is older.

By 78 Moto had switched from Reynolds to Vitus 888 tubing. Good but not as good as the db Reynolds. Also by 78 Moto frames had brazed on top tube cable guides for the rear brake.

I'm pretty sure your bike has had some part swapping. I doubt the Technomic stem is OEM and most of the 531 Jubiles I've seen had Campy NR shifters with Stronglight cranks. Cyclone is a nice RD though. Better than the VGx that's OEM on my 78.

531 Jubiles are very nice bikes, described as "elegant" by either Sheldon Brown or CyclArtist's Jim Cunningham (I forget which one said that though I agree whole-heartedly). I've seen many eBay for several times what you paid. In fact I paid exactly 2X for mine and I think your older one is more desireable.

Oh yeah, year? My guess in 76. Much older and you see a rectangular headbadge.
