No surprise here

. As I've stated elsewhere, and to paraphrase Jacques Anquetil (or any honest cyclist pro off the record) you can't do the TdF whitout doping. Period.
F. Landis is one dirty cyclist amongst others. What is sad here is how close he came to admitting it all right after the news, and how he clamed up after meeting with his lawyers and
PR guys during the Press conference in Madrid. They likely told him, tow the line, "we will beat this." They lied.
The other sad part is that some in the US biking community see it as a point of honor to defend F. Lyod, guilty or not. It starts at the bike store (LBS) owner, and ends up with the laughably hypocritcal "cycling analyst" on espn, who goes on and on trying to obfuscate the obvious and said Landis was likely negative, lol!! (Someexpert...)
I guess he was protecting his bacon, since as a cycling "analyst" (a short sighted ont to be sure) he wants there to be a US hero to increase the interest. Smae reasoning for the LBS dudes...
Talk about killing the goose...
