I did spend that much on a set of wheels once. . .but they were for my porsche. I love hearing everyone trying to justify $4200 for a set of wheels seeing as how you can put together an entire bike that is within ounces of the UCI limit for the same money. He can obviously afford them so why not? Personally I would feel a little silly with them because you totally know the first time someone drops you on a hill they are going to look over their shoulder and say "nice wheels"
