I'll reiterate here that nothing can beat FSA. They have a long track record of burly FR/DH bottom brackets. One of their trademark features has been two bearings on the drive side at least. I've had three freeride ISIS bottom brackets. My first was an FSA Ultimax Xtreme that never skipped a beat with repeated poundings and three race seasons. My second was a Race Face Evolve FR. It was a pile from the get-go; and now the outer race on the non-drive side is cracked. So I've gone back to FSA with the Platinum Pro DH.
