Hi learned ones

I obtained a 7-speed Nexus internal hub which was missing some of the parts required to install it. No problem; I got LBS to order them in based on the Shimano parts list. I got two non-turn washers, one for the left and one for the right. The right fits without any hassles, but the left side of my hub was obviously not designed for one of these wahers, so it won't go on.

Is this a problem?
