I got into it for politics. I felt weird talking to people about the war and how it was all about oil when I still was driving a car. Then a couple of my friends and I started an oil free club at school and rode our bikes to school the last 3 weeks of school. Fixed gears are my life, I did a sprint tri on one three weeks ago, I commute, and then I use it for just general transportation, except for long trips when I bum a ride off one of my friends that drives.
