Bikes: No Loaners for Slackers!

[QUOTE=crayonsemble]i dig you as a person generic and all my other times up friends but i see no
point in getting myself arrested. its not gonna change a damn thing and good
luck ever say getting a loan, govermant job,or any other job and having
to explain why you have a criminal record. though when the law is changed
i will probably be arrested at some point anyways but at least it wont be
on purpose.[/QUOTE

yeah, try not to get arrested. plus, parading w/o a permit is only a violation, and the DAs have always offered ACDs to arrestees (which supposedly wipe the offense off your record after 6 months). as a violation, it's on par with a traffic offense, like speeding for instance, so the long term consequences are nil.

this is a tool to take people from the streets and put them in jail for a night. the process, essentially, is the punishment.

it would be a good idea to clear out any old warrants, though, as you'll potentially stay much longer if you're ticketed or arrested with any outstanding.
