this may sound a bit out of the ordinary, but International Bike in Newton replaced a broken spoke and trued my wheel for $12 while I waited and threw in a set of free bar plugs. I don't know if International Bike in Brighton would do the same, as they've flaked out on me several times.

going to boston bike on beacon street on the weekends is a lost cause as far as i'm concerned. it seems that i always run into the same guy that doesn't know ****.
