If you are strictly looking to raise funds, you would probably be better off parting it out. Tear it down, and put everything up on ebay. Barring that, you could try putting it on craigslist for $900 or so, and hope to either get lucky, or have someone make you a reasonable offer.

Whatever you do, don't take it to a pawn shop-but I'm sure you know that, already
