Ditto on what walter46 said. A different mileage but the sentiment and reasoning for my commute are the same.
I would love to ride with someone else. However, I feel commuting by its nature is a solitary activity.
On the weekends I take my son along with me. Then I have short conversations while riding with a 3 year old.
Perhaps some sort of group ride may be in the cards for me eventually.
