Doesnt LA have street lights? And I thought my town was behind the times. Seriously, I'm surprised you "cant see" though. Maybe you need glasses..? Do you think pedestrians should wear lights? Not all roads have sidewalks.
I like how most old bicycles came with stock lights.. they werent tacky looking like todays lights. Im not about to attatch a buncha tacky looking blinky lights on my classics.
I have a nice looking vintage light on one of my bicycles actually, but the light connection rattles loose cause the roads are so rough, refuse to fix it over and over.
