Um, the bottom bracket shell is built into the bike. It's the big metal thing that's got four metal tubes coming out of it. Hope you find it.

You should take the bike to a bike shop. They can help you with all of this. I don't think you should be installing cranks and a bottom bracket just yet in your bicycle mechanics career.
